Made for Cozy Fall Jam 2023

Premise

You are a sunflower made of flesh and blood. A mysterious blight has come around and is corrupting the other plants. It is your job to stop them and reclaim the garden as yours. Less wilt = more garden.

Gameplay

There are two places on the map that spawn the enemies. Having enemies in the game increases the wilt meter; If the wilt meter reaches max, you die. If you kill the enemies, however, it reduces the value of the wilt meter. Enemies will drop items that will help you defeat in different ways.

Items

Gourd	Increases max health and regen speed
Nettles	Increases base damage
Acorn	Shoot an extra acorn shot dealing small damage
Cinnamon	Extra attack speed and movement speed

Overview

This was my first attempt at a solo game jam, I got really rushed at the end but I think what I got out was good enough lol. Actually to be fair this was my first attempt at a lot of things, like 2d art and Godot as well. I ran out of time at the end and had to put in some... questionable sound effects.

This game definitely has a ton of bugs
